Are there any rules concerning a writer who for whatever reason drops out of the competition midway? Like, whether they may receive partial credit, whether they'll be allowed back into future rounds, etc.

Also, are there any limits to what the rating of the finished fanfic may be?

Partial credits won't be given, considering only fellow team members are aware of their teammates' identity and we don't want to put anyone under the spotlight for dropping out. Credits will be given to whoever has finished a fic, be it a fellow team member or pinch-hitter.
Drop-outs will be allowed to stay in touch with their teammates though and can still participate by brainstorming, beta-reading or just giving support and still have to abide by the secrecy policy.

We will ban anyone who drops out without notice, for one round. Otherwise, drops-out will be allowed back into future rounds.

No limit when it comes to ratings :)

oh one more question! I'm rather new to dreamwidth, so I'm wondering how we'll remain anonymous if we have to post our forms as comments in the sign-up thread? Will the comments be screened or...?
